Having just sat through a class on corporations in law school, I can assure you that now I completely understand why I thought corporations were uncaring, irresponsible, and in a word, whores. Except that really gives whores a bad name.
Could it be that they have no social responsiblity? Could it be that they are legalized organized crime?
They could still be the driving force for economic liberty and give a damn about something other than the bottom line. Yes, they have done so much and yes, they could do more.

How about all of the "Alien" pictures but particularly "Aliens" (Alien II)?

The Firm?
The Devil's Advocate?
what about The Rainmaker? (based on UNUMProvident in Grisham's neck of the woods; the parts involving witnesses at trial who observed the late-night roundtables to intentionally plot to deny deserving claimants of their insurance is both chilling and "ripped from the headlines.")
What about Wall Street? I mean, c'mon, I'm not even stretching here.

China Syndrome
All films based on true stories. Gee.
LOL - no wonder the Right thinks Hollywood is so dangerous: people actually believe the propaganda. From Wikipedia: "The accident at the plant occurred a few days after the release of the movie The China Syndrome." [emphasis added]
Let's not forget almost every Bond film, Total Recall, Hudson Hawk, ....
Reality: <1% of businessmen commit crimes with evil intentions, usually white collar crime (I emphasize the criminal intent because I read a few years back that lawyers believe about 65% of corporations are probably guilty of some violation of the law because there are so many regulations of which to run afoul).
Movies: 99% of businessmen are serial criminals, usually homicidal maniacs
