Am I anti-regulation
This question is suggested by Christine.
Quick answer: I don't think there should be a presumption favoring regulation, including in areas that have long been regulated. Just because the regulation hasn't yet caused the earth to explode doesn't mean it's a good idea.
But the presumption can be rebutted. For example, there should be a very strong law against ugly cars. Like those cars that are taller than they are long. Or that very peculiar Pontiac. Or anything with a spoiler that is not generally driven at 140 mph.
If I think of anything else I'll let you know.
