Grokster

The Court has ruled.  I have read only this WaPo story.  On this first glance, could be reasonable. Unlike Sony's Betamax, Grokster may have (the lower court will have to decide) promoted infringement and failed to take easy steps to stop it. 

Sounds like a cheaper cost avoider analysis that protects property rights but will not send us into a Luddite Stone Age. I thought I'd get these reasonable thoughts on the table before the techies deluge us with cries of Armageddon.
