Thanks for having us, Larry.  We're all delighted to be here.  Enjoy your travels.  We'll miss you.  Now here's your hat, what's your hurry?

As Larry mentioned (has he not left the country yet?  Some guys, you just can't get rid of) we've taken over Ideoblog.  I can't promise the same quality, drollery and attention to film and Rappahannock, Virginia you usually get around here, but I hope you'll find us an acceptable substitute.

As Larry also mentioned, for many of us this is a pre-launch gig on the way over to our new home at the soon-to-be-live Truth on the Market blog.  Bill and I are still hashing out the logistics and working out the design (Ecru is so much bolder than eggshell, right?), and we'll keep you posted.  From among the bloggers now populating Ideoblog, Bill and I will be joined by Thom, Keith, Pseudonym and Josh.

Which reminds me -- a few of the folks who have signed on to blog at Ideoblog this month (myself included) will be plagued by the typical (and, in some cases, not-so-typical) end-of-the-year time constraints.  I apologize in advance if your favorite non-Larry blogger goes missing for a couple of days at a time; that's why there are so many of us to make up for only one Larry.

So now I invite my fellow interlopers to introduce themselves.
